I signed up for the 60 Day Press Push hoping to learn more about how to target what I make (cross stitch patterns) to those who would love to stitch my designs. I learned so much. Learning how to target specific media outlets like blogs, magazines, podcasts, etc was very helpful. I also learned that by pitching my products to these outlets, I'm not "bothering" the person I'm pitching to but actually helping them do their job and bring new exciting content to their audience. I ended up getting an interview on the She Percolates podcast, and the ladies there loved my story and told me before and after it aired how much they appreciated me sharing my story with them. I also have a few pitches still in the works for the future. For anyone who isn't sure how to pitch their products (and get focused on what it is about them as makers that makes them unique), this course is excellent value and the lessons learned can be used again and again as your career blossoms.

I signed up for 60 Day Press Push for the accountability, which on its own is worth the price of the course. The program was very well-structured and full of insanely good insider insight and info. I especially got a lot out of learning how to research media outlets and about the different type of pitches.

My biggest a-ha moment in the 60 Day Press Push is that I don’t need to be intimidated by the press. We’re doing them a favor by introducing a product or story to them. Megan and Brigitte were fantastic and attentive teachers, and very active in the Facebook group. They made everyone feel comfortable and made pitching the press less intimidating.
